The client was using another SEO company who failed to provide any value from their efforts to optimize their local presence in Google My Business which is also referred to as Google Maps and Google Local search results.
A serious challenge Lead to Recovery faced was the lack of historical Google My Business data and conversion statistics for their GMB listing since it was never properly optimized and was “claimed” by their previous marketing agency. This gave Lead to Recovery no absolute baseline data to reference in aggregate so we’re only able to showcase what we’ve accomplished since we helped the client take ownership of their listing and optimized it.
We customized and deployed a local SEO strategy that included optimization of their GMB profile, unique local citation creation, and hyperlocal directory submissions.
Overall Google My Business statistics for the campaign showed the following:
Form Submission Results: Inbound phone calls were this client’s #1 focus in terms of conversions points but we also tracked “Insurance Verification” form submissions as well as “Get Help” form submissions.
- Google My Business provided 7 insurance verification submissions (one of the strongest conversion points for any addiction treatment center) and 56 “Get Help” form submissions
The client was thrilled with our local SEO work and was forced to hire more personnel to manage inbound inquiries and new patient acquisition from our efforts. It’s also worth noting this client has since opened up three additional locations and will have Lead to Recovery manage their Website Design, SEO, Google Local, and Pay-Per-Click marketing for the new locations.
