Background:

Initially, the client had already gone through two failed attempts at promoting their addiction treatment centre in the greater Vancouver, BC area. Having been underwhelmed by previous SEO partners, they decided to work with Lead to Recovery based on our pure focus on addiction treatment and behavioral health marketing and our custom-tailored digital marketing program built for their specific needs.

Strategy & Execution:

During the initial stages of the engagement, we went through the process of cleaning up website coding, content and backlinks to adjust to the most recent Google algorithm update. We also restructured their Google My Business (GMB) profile to lay the groundwork for future GMB optimization.

Ongoing throughout the SEO campaign, Lead to Recovery created fresh content in the form of updating existing page copy, creation of new landing pages and blog posts and proactively acquired inbound links to increase organic exposure for their most important terms. 

For Local SEO, we built out monthly Canadian-specific business citations while also optimizing their images for hyper-local reference. To add more power to the GMB mix, we fed our fresh blog posts to their GMB profile as micro-posts with “Learn More” CTA click-through options to increase exposure of both their GMB profile and the fresh content produced each month.

SEO Results:

Organic SEO for this Canadian drug and alcohol rehab client showed marked improvements throughout the campaign with significant growth toward the latter part of 2020.

  • 146% increase in traffic (1,211 to 2,987)
  • 37% increase in goal conversions 
  • 19% increase in goal completions (phone calls, form submissions, chat leads, and assessment form leads)
